So, if you’re trying to hit some different shapes, stand behind the ball, and visualize the shot you want to play. So I’m seeing a ball starting to the right, and then drawing back. And we’re humans. We’re quite clever. Often visualizing that before you hit the shot, will instinctively make you walk in and maybe aim a little more right, swing the club on a slightly shallower plane, closing the club face. And you’ll find that you start to hit the shot, if you visualized it before.
So, it’s a simple key. I’m not saying every player who’s trying to work the ball with different shapes does it this way. But I think there’s many players who will benefit from really visualizing the shot before you try to hit the shot.
