Tiger Woods and TaylorMade Golf have unveiled Sun Day Red – a new apparel and footwear brand.
The much-anticipated launch took place in Palisades Village in Los Angeles where Woods and TaylorMade hosted guests and members of the media.
Sun Day Red will officially arrive on May 1 with the brand describing the move as “poised to redefine what golfers expect from their attire” on its new website.
The announcement arrived in the week of the Genesis Invitational, a tournament Woods hosts and will play in to open his PGA Tour account in 2024.
“I have learned so much over the years and have a lifetime of experience adjusting my apparel and footwear to help me play better based on the way it was constructed,” Woods said via the Sun Day Red website.
“There are things that I could tell you that no one knew I was doing over the years. I’m ready to share those secrets with the world.
“Sun Day Red will embody a love of playing and competing, and we are for people that share those values, whether it’s on the course, or in life. We will be anchored to putting the athlete first in the product decisions we make.”
The logo features 15 stripes which represent each of the 48-year-old’s major championship victories. Getty Images released pictures of some of the new products shortly before the launch show began in LA.

Tiger Woods: TaylorMade chapter begins after long Nike partnership
Having spent 27 years in partnership with Nike, Woods has entered a new dawn with TaylorMade at what he described as “the right time” when speaking on stage at the launch.
On January 8, Woods announced he and Nike had ended their partnership. In this vast period, Woods won 15 majors and created countless memories while donning the company’s Swoosh and the red Nike t-shirts on tournament Sundays.
Woods has worn red in the final rounds of events since college and the inspiration comes from his mother who once described red as his “power colour.”
From the Hello World television advert to famously chipping in with a Nike ball at the 2005 Masters, Woods and Nike built one of the most fruitful, recognisable athlete-brand partnerships in sport.
After promising “another chapter” in that same January announcement, Woods teased an update of his next clothing deal on February 6 with a post on X/Twitter that was captioned, “The vision remains the same. 2.12.24.”
On February 10, Woods’ X account posted an image of the man in a red golf shirt surrounded by shadows with a caption that read, “A new day rises. 2.12.24.”
When Woods returned to competitive action at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas at the end of 2023, he declared his intention to play once a month with this prospective run beginning at the Genesis Invitational.
This was his first tournament since withdrawing from the Masters. He had surgery after leaving Augusta National to address post-traumatic arthritis from a previous fracture in his foot.
Before that, Woods impressively made the cut at the Genesis Invitational, carding rounds of 69, 74, 67 and 73.
