David Fluke

       Founding Director and Teaching Professional

As the Head Professional at Hill Barn Golf Club in Worthing, David offers a wide variety of programmes, ranging from beginner level through to expert. He teaches both individual and group lessons, for men, ladies, juniors and business people.

Before he turned pro, David successfully played English amateur golf tournaments in the UK and overseas, including the Dubai Amateur and the English Amateur. Additionally, he has represented Sussex at County level.

David’s career has also included holding key positions in events and sports management, where his specialism in event logistics contributed to the success of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Hickstead Derby Meeting and the European Open Golf Championship.

Along with his partner Claire Love, Founding Director of one of Sussex’s leading marketing agencies, LWS Marketing, David created the South Coast Golf Tour, running golf networking events for business people across the South of England.

It was David’s extensive background in competitive tournament golf that inspired the creation of the Tour, which was founded in 2010 and is now in its sixth successful year. His belief in the business benefits of corporate golf have led him to specialise in teaching golf for business, running golf-related sessions for corporate teambuilding and corporate golf days.
