Honda Classic betting tips: Who to back each-way
Lee Westwood (66/1 with bet365) is returning to PGA National for the first time since 2015 have rejuvenated his career once more with a win in Abu Dhabi in January.
He used to be a regular at this event and enjoyed some success with top-10 finishes in 2010, 2012 and 2013 so he should enjoy getting back out there at PGA National.
Westwood is back inside the top 50 in the world rankings and had a solid four days at last week’s WGC-Mexico finishing just outside the top 20. There is an element of the unknown in regards to how well he copes around a layout he’s been absent from for five years but at this price he’s a good each-way selection.
Wyndham Clark (60/1) seems to enjoy this section of the season and teed it up in the Honda Classic for the first time last season and wasted no time going low. He took a share of 7th and finished four shots back of the lead but could have been properly in contention had he not slumped to a 2-over round on Sunday.
After three consecutive missed cuts at the beginning of the year he has turned his form around with two top 20s in his last three starts. Clark took a break last week and should be fresh heading to Florida.
